⒈  照耀；明亮：“日出有曜”。

⒉  日、月、星均称“曜”，日、月、火、水、木、金、土七个星合称“七曜”，旧时分别用来称一个星期的七天，如“日曜日”是星期日，“月曜日”是星期一，其余依次类推。
